3D milling is a system that uses georeferencing technology, which can sometimes eliminate the need for the final preparation step before paving operations and allows for precise profile correction.
HDF constructions has equipped some of its machines with this technology. As a result, the company was awarded the milling contracts for the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve and Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport during the spring of 2018.
This service, though still not widely known, offers several advantages, including greater efficiency and cost savings.
