The two newly acquired machines come from a range of sophisticated and powerful equipment that incorporates the latest technical and technological advancements. The new Wirtgen W 250 Fi is the largest high-capacity milling machine from the German manufacturer.
The impressive drum width, which can reach up to 3.8 meters, reduces the number of machine passes required and, consequently, the time and cost needed to complete the work. The milling machine can also be fitted with drums of different widths, giving it valuable versatility.
To fully benefit from this advantage, HDF had a custom hydraulic carriage built, significantly reducing drum change time and, therefore, delays on job sites.

Finally, the milling machine features a high milling depth, allowing for the complete removal of pavement layers. As for the new WR 250 cold recycler, it is the most powerful recycler in Wirtgen’s WR series. By combining its working width and depth, it is ideally suited for particularly demanding projects. This machine is the third WR 250 stabilizer in the company’s equipment fleet.
